Have an idea you want to share? A topic you’re really interested in? Want to write? Come learn about zines with Anna!

Join us on Wednesday, December 13 from 12-2pm at the Creative Arts Center at 105 Elm Street in Westfield. Please click here to reserve your spot!

Zines are self-published, non-commercial, small-circulation magazines that you can fill with your own stories, drawings, and more. Anyone can make zines – all you need is paper, a pencil, and a pair of scissors!
In this two-hour class, you’ll learn how to make a few different types of zines, and you will walk away with at least one zine under your belt. All basic materials will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your favorite pens/pencils/markers, stickers, old magazines for collaging, or whatever else you’d like. Don’t worry if you don’t have an idea for what you’d like your zine to be about – prompts will be provided.
Please note: Ms. Boutin-Cooper's class is being offered in partnership with a grant from the Radical Librarianship Institute and is discounted due to this partnership.
