Join librarian Anna Boutin-Cooper for a zine-making workshop! Zines are small circulation, handmade magazines that can be made on any topic, by anyone. They are a fun classroom activity, appropriate for kiddos ages 6 and older, all the way up to adults. In this workshop, we'll make a one-page zine, which only requires a piece of paper, scissors, and a writing utensil! All materials will be provided.

All basic materials will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your favorite pens/pencils/markers, stickers, old magazines for collaging, or whatever else you’d like. Don’t worry if you don’t have an idea for what you’d like your zine to be about – prompts will be provided.

NOTE: This workshop is partially funded through a grant from the Radical Librarianship Institute.
