This is a soft, nurturing, slow-paced, relaxing yoga practice. It is based on Hatha Yoga which involves classical yoga postures (asanas), and breathwork. This is a great class for anyone brand new to yoga, a beginner, or just prefer a slower pace. These gentle warming movements decrease stress, promote relaxation, calm the mind, and stretch and strengthen the body. There will be various postures: standing, on the yoga mat, seated on the mat, as well as, some guided breathe work and meditation.
All are welcome. No experience necessary. Modifications will be provided. Accommodations, such as chair use, available. Lots of guided instruction will be provided.
CLASS 2 Dates: May 11 and 25, June 8 and 22.
